Lin and Noisy at the 1982 Junior Grand National Horse Show at the Cow Palace in open jumpers.Harvey and Lois Collins are pleased to welcome Lin Collins, their son, to Beach Lake Stable”s lesson program. He is returning to the equestrian world after several years in the food-service industry having served in many capacities in hotels and restaurants in the greater Sacramento Area. Lin will work closely with Kayla Edwards, who has been with Beach Lake for many years, to offer hunter-jumper lessons from beginning to advanced and beginning western lessons to students who just want to learn how to ride. Beach Lake Stables will continue to offer a family atmosphere where all types of riders are welcome, whether English or Western, pleasure or show.

Lin grew up at Beach Lake Stables where horses were his world. He learned basic equestrian skills under beloved trainer Ivan McAllister, now deceased, and subsequently trained under Lindsay Pounds-Costigan. While riding with Lindsay, Lin and his Thoroughbred Jumper, Noisy (With a Twist), competed throughout Northern California”s A and B show circuit.

Lin can be reached via e-mail and by telephone at (916) 508-7943.
