Kayla Edwards
Kayla Edwards specializes in beginning and intermediate Hunter Jumper lessons at Beach Lake Stables. She has been riding at Beach Lake for nine years, and has been giving lessons for nearly four. Kayla loves working with young children as well as adults who are beginning to ride. She believes that the proper care and handling of the horse are keys to becoming a good rider. She also insists on proper form on the part of the rider, having learned herself from several years of taking riding lessons and participating in four riding clinics taught by clinician Nick Karazissis, one of the most successful trainers on the West Coast.
Kayla is a senior at Sacramento State University, majoring in Art and minoring in Humanities and Religious Studies. In Kayla’s own words: “I apply the same dedication to teaching my students at Beach Lake that I apply in furthering my education at Sacramento State.”
Harvey and Lois Collins are pleased that Kayla is part of the Beach Lake Stables’ training staff. She is a caring person, who stresses safety and follows the Golden Rule in getting along with others.
